What I Would Say About the Kids in our Family Christmas Card

Elias (7) Second Grade.  Emotional, verbal, and inquisitive. Gifted musically (piano and beat-boxing), but at this point in time, plans on a career with the NBA.  Loved soccer and looks forward to baseball season.  Delights in understanding sarcasm.  Wants to be “one of the cool guys" at school (Heaven help me).

Shea (5) Whimsical and socially adept.  A pleaser.  Constantly builds three dimensional items out of paper and tape.  Wants to bring her beloved kindergarten teacher a “present” every day.  “Presents” are random items found around the house taped together to form a functional and aesthetically pleasing invention.  Greatly enjoys gymnastics.  Is wearing a bow that is much too big in our family picture.

Jonah (3) Tempermental and cuddly.   A proclivity for slapstick.  REALLY loud.  Is the size of a five-year-old and tells everyone he is five.  Is very interested in his future, often asking (in his little three-year-old voice) things like, “Mom, when can I drive?” or “Mom, when am I going to be a teenager?” or “Mom, when I am a daddy, can I marry Max’s mom?” (Max’s mom is very beautiful).  Loves dressing up as different super heroes.
